Bentley service quotes: why engine, model and age matter
Compare Bentley service quotations by their actual tasks, engine application and documented history rather than by a package name alone.

Two Bentley quotations can have different prices because they cover different work, not because one is automatically better value. Before comparing them, establish the model, powertrain and age of the vehicle and ask each provider to describe the proposed tasks. “Full service” has little meaning without that detail.
Why the exact Bentley matters
Bentley's official service-plan information distinguishes vehicle categories by factors including model, engine and age. Those distinctions are useful when preparing an enquiry. The published UK programme, however, does not establish UAE eligibility, local prices or what an independent workshop includes.
A Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga should therefore not be treated as interchangeable descriptions. Nor should a quotation for one engine or powertrain be carried over to another without confirming the application.
Divide the proposal into three parts
First, identify maintenance due under the applicable schedule. Second, record condition-related items found during inspection. Third, separate investigation of any complaint, such as a warning or an unusual vibration. This makes it clear which work is scheduled, which is evidence-led and which remains a diagnostic question.
Bring dated records rather than relying on a seller's statement that the car “was recently serviced.” A useful record says what was done and at what mileage. If a previous task cannot be confirmed, label that uncertainty rather than treating it as completed or overdue by assumption.
Compare like with like
Ask each quotation to identify:
- Included inspections, fluids and replacement items.
- The specification and application of proposed parts.
- Any separately charged investigation.
- What requires your further approval if new findings arise.
An unusually broad package may include work your car does not currently need; a short quotation may omit a necessary assessment. The item list matters more than the package label.
Send a focused request
Use a mechanical service enquiry for the planned maintenance scope and describe unresolved warnings separately for diagnosis. Include model year, powertrain, mileage and service evidence so the next discussion concerns your Bentley rather than a generic price.
Discuss your vehicle
See the Bentley information page or send a model-specific enquiry. Confirm the proposed work and vehicle suitability before booking.
